Fire & Life Safety
Educating our community on how to prevent and respond to emergencies is part of the Ash Fork Volunteer Fire Department’s core mission.
Online Resources
The National Fire Prevention Association provides safety tips on its website for a variety of topics, including smoke alarms, escape planning, seasonal fire hazards, and more.
Community Presentations and Fire Station Visits
Every year, our volunteer firefighters, EMTs, and administrative members provide fire and life safety presentations for local schools and other community organizations. If your group would like to visit the Ash Fork Fire Station or request our personnel to give a presentation at your event, please get in touch with us.
Fire Prevention Week
During the second week of October, the AFVFD commemorates the National Fire Prevention Association’s Fire Prevention Week. Typically the AFVFD educates the community for Fire Prevention Week by visiting schools and hosting an open house. Check the department’s Facebook page for more information.
